Official Release – Boston, MA: MedTechVets Announces New Partnership with Medical Technology Company Stryker

Boston, MA (May 22, 2019) — MedTechVets (formerly MVPvets) today announced a new partnership with the medical technology company Stryker. Stryker becomes a Silver Level Sponsor, supporting the work MedTechVets does as a veteran mentoring program in Massachusetts and around the U.S. Additionally, Stryker will send two mentors to this year’s DeviceTalks event in Boston.

With this new partnership, Stryker will receive resume access and mentor matching to participating veterans, including student veterans, who are seeking employment in the medical technology sectors. In addition, MedTechVets veterans will have access to Stryker job postings, along with potential mentor and employment opportunities.

“We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with Stryker, an innovative medical technology company that is working hard to develop products and services that benefit patients and improve outcomes. So many veterans who have served our country want to pursue a career that remains mission-focused with the clarity of meaning and purpose to that which they had in uniform – service to others. This partnership with Stryker will bolster the opportunities for veterans to explore and achieve their transition goals by finding those meaningful positions in the medtech space.”

Jayson Gilberti, Colonel, U.S., Army, Retired, who is CEO of MedTechVets.
