Boston, MA, August 16, 2024 – MedTechVets, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans in transitioning into careers in the medical technology sector, proudly announces the appointment of Ramzi Nuwayhid as Board Director effective August 16, 2024.
Ramzi brings over 30 years of expertise in the Wealth Management field during his time with Merrill Lynch Management, where he has provided advice and guidance on financial strategies for officers and directors of private & publicly companies. Over the last decade, Ramzi has continuously supported MedTechVets through sponsorships, operational support, and networking opportunities.

Beyond his roles in the Nuwayhid Group, Ramzi is a member of the board of directors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where he served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for six years, and currently serves on the Compensation, Investment, and Audit Committees. He holds a B.S.in Management Information Systems and a minor in Finance from Syracuse University. He also has the designations of Certified Financial Planner and Certified Investment Management Analyst.
